Renting a Car in Belize

Consider renting a car in Belize for mainland exploration, especially if planning independent travel. Rent from a reliable company, purchase collision coverage, check credit card insurance, and ensure sufficient liability coverage as per Belize requirements. SUVs are recommended for rough roads, but not essential. Additional fees and crossing borders should be considered. Return the car before heading to the Cayes.
